Ate in cafe- usual food with a few Asian items. Okay for the price. Busy Poker room only 1 in town Hotel looks fairly new. Players Club gave gifts rather than slot play for joining. November 16, Great overnight stop. The Rv parking is located behind the casino, next to the hotel. We checked in with security, upon arrival, they did not require any info from us. Stay time limit: none if gambling Lighting: Well lit parking area Security: security did several patrols during the night! Rv Parking: Asphalt lot, slight slope On site garbage cans Canucks on wheels would stay here again! Canucksonwheels Top 10 Reviewer 11 reviews.
Report this review Comments 0 Was this review helpful? Stayed only 1 night. April 23, We stopped by for 1 night while on our way to Colorado. Staff was very hospitable and we experienced no problems. Would definitely stay here again when traveling through Mesquite. Over all our experience was bad. Check-in host was rude and not very helpful. The sites are narrow and the longest is 45', leaving no room to park your vehicle.
The sewer was rusty, so sewer attachment will not seal. They do have a pool, but it is two blocks away. Wi-Fi connection is very slow. There is grass that runs around the wall and a small area marked for pets. Mostly it is just a blacktop parking lot with water, electric, and sewer hookups.
For the price can forgive everything except the rudeness. Good RV park for one or two nights. The park is run by the Casa Blanca Casino. We go to the casino first to register which is only a couple of blocks from the RV Park. Be sure to ask for directions before leaving the casino. You cannot make a left hand turn into the RV park. The pull thru spaces are very, very tight. We could not leave in the morning until our neighbor moved his truck.
I would recommend a back in spot as they are wider and there is an extra two feet of space in the grass area of all back in spots. We were able to get WiFi and there is a pool. Guests also have use of all the Casino's facilities.
There is a small, grassy area for dogs.. Better yet is the vacant parking lot next to the RV Park to walk your dog. Please be courteous and pick up after your dog. Don't ruin it for the rest of us. Previous review is incorrect. Most of the Oasis torn down, but the campground is still open and quite crowded. Register at the Casa Blanca. This park is closed. Casino went out of business and is being torn down. Very tight and hard to navigate getting in and traveling in the park.
Check-in was confusing. Had to walk several blocks to enter a casino full of smoke and wait in the registration area of the hotel among all the other hotel guests to check-in. This park is a good place to stay while in or passing through the area. The Oasis resort is closed but the campground and pool are both still open. Sites are paved and the utilities and laundry all worked fine.
Paid Wi-Fi was available but the price was unreasonable. Checking in required a trip to the Casa Blanca which was somewhat inconvenient since they were a few blocks away. It served it's purpose well though and we'd stop by again in the future. Sites were hard to get to from the road had to do a u-turn on a side street , and pull-through sites were too short 45 feet for a motorhome and tow car.
Sites were level asphalt, though narrow, and utility hookup was OK. Dog walk area was minimal. OK for a one-night stop. However, it can be difficult to pull into Casablanca to do this, since the entrance and obvious parking areas are for cars; a big RV might have difficulties. We felt it was too risky. One option is to somehow get into the large Casablanca parking area on the east side, go in and register, then drive a block to Oasis RV Park. Instead, we pulled into Oasis, found a space we liked, then called Casablanca registration desk to verify.
They argued about this approach, but accepted it. We then walked to Casablanca to pay and ended up eating in their restaurant. The attraction of Oasis is pull-through spaces for a quick overnight, but we found them shorter than average.
Fortunately, Our overhang on both ends didn't quite block the roads, but longer rigs had to unhook to use a pull-through. This is a good place to stay overnight. We were here a total of 3 different times and the laundry room machines were out of order all three times. The TV cable was not working, but within an hour they came and fixed it. We were pleased and impressed with all the courteous and friendly staff and quick response to any request. The Oasis casino is closed down and out of business, but the CasaBlanca is managing the park.
The Oasis Casino and Motel is completely closed. Check in is at the Casa Blanca Registration Desk, which is not convenient but workable for the value. This "park" is now closed. There was a chain across the entrance. We did not stay at this time, but wanted to post the information. We were told that the RV park, casino, and hotel are going to be demolished.
It was adequate for the price. There is no wireless available in the RV park even though it's available to purchase at the now closed Oasis motel ' away. Own This Campground? We decided it would have been better to ask for a back-in. Otherwise, it is a good deal for the money. And you can use the pool at the Casino and, of course, take in the buffet and the gambling in the Casino. Of course you can park for free near the front, but when you have degree heat, that's not really an option. As usual for us, this stop is a must to refill the trai!
Back in sites are spacious, careful the pull thru sites are short. Tip for Other Campers: The Cafe has great food and large portions. Good stop for the night or longer if you gamble. Right behind the casino, short walk away BUT many steps on stairs to get up in the casino. Mostly backins but a few 39 ft pull throughs. Clean level gravel parking. Well lite at night so some may need to pull drapes to darken vehicle for sleep.
Easy on and off the interstate. Food good in the casino. Stopped here quite a bit over the years, the prices have gone up this year. Still an OK stop. Different sites fit different size rigs. The pull thru sites are short, you cannot remain hooked up. Both ends of the RV area have big long sites but cost more. Lots of room to maneuver. Pool and casino are nice, food great and reasonable priced. On checking in you had to go inside casino. Not easy to park rv and not have a long walk inside.
Receptionist I checked in with had no clue about anything regarding rv park. We chose a pull through. Very short and tight with someone on each side. No place to park tow vehicle. Wish we would have seen review about pull throughs. Would highly recommend a back-in. Cable very poor. Nice place to "unwinterize" for a couple of days. Get a back in as the pull through are not real level. Tip for Other Campers: Casino a short walk. We have reviewed this property before and it is still the same.
Great value for the price. Just remember the pull-through spaces are short, you cannot remain hooked up. They do offer some giant sites for a premium price, great for big rigs and 5ers. Both are great for stocking up. Basically a parking lot with full hookups. Many spaces are narrow but larger lots are generally available for a slightly higher price. Easy access both north and south I We found staff friendly and helpful.
Easy walking to casino and restaurants. Appears to be able to handle any size RV. Tip for Other Campers: Casino and restaurants. Sites are small and close together. Sites are full hookup but no wifi. Entry to RV section very poorly marked. Must check in at hotel desk before going to site. Impossible to get into the Casino from RV park without walking all the way around to the front of the hotel.
We were in a motorhome. Great place to winterize or de-winterize. Yes, tight but OK for price. Good food at Casino, grocery and supplies close by. Very close quarters. Our neighbor was a large fifth wheel and he had to park his truck within a foot of us. The obvious expectation is that you will spend your time in the casino not in the RV park.
Check in is at the casino hotel front desk where you may get a choice between the CasaBlanca or the Oasis. Oasis looked pretty bleak so we opted for the CasaBlanca. Not a bad site, very minimal, but clean restrooms. No shade. Cable TV had very poor reception, no internet accessibility at all. Fairly level sites. Will stay again. Water, power and sewer were very reliable. Had a to get back in site, the pull through sites are too short if you have a tow.
Sites are very wide, all gravel. No WiFi. Good, cheap, easy access from I You can use their resort pool area and it is a short walk from the RV area. All asphalt lot. Pull thrus are narrow. But the spots around the outside are real wide as long as you do not mind unhooking and backing in. Pretty good from a noise standpoint since it is off the main street and behind the casino.
